Matthew's friend from school came over to visit and swim today! They had so much fun!!! While her mom and I talked, they were going in and outdoors, between the playhouse outside and his room. Talking and playing and swinging! Then we took them outside for a swim. I had a great time talking to her mom - so nice to have adult conversation during the day! :)

Yep - I got a haircut yesterday. Had her wack it all off!!!
I took in a photo of Meg Ryan in "You've Got Mail" and had her cut it like that. It's pretty close - but I have it flipped out more today. Matthew keeps looking at me and saying "haircut". It is alot shorter! And much cooler and off my face!!!!
All of us got haircuts this weekend. We finally cut Ryan's and Matthew let me cut his with clippers again.
See - here I was Sunday morning at breakfast... just a little shorter, huh?
Super hot again today. We had to drive 1/2 hour to get to see Miss Kelly (PT) and then had to stop at 2 WalMarts on the way home to try to find Matthew's fish sticks. We'd been to 2 other ones on the weekend and they were both out! He had 2 left and was needing some more since that's a diet staple...
Our new little blind on the window worked so well this morning that I didn't even realize the tree guy was out there trimming the trees until he knocked on the door when he was done! LOL! Thankfully I had already finished on the elliptical and had showered! He's been interested in Matthew when he's been here the last few times, and we've wondered if he was just curious of what. But today he told me that his brother has a son with Down syndrome. So - that's kinda cool!

We got up on this Sunday morning and Matthew wanted to go for a swim. So - he did for a few minutes, then we got ready and went to the Hoosier Cafe again for Breakfast. We had gone there last weekend, but Ryan had been to Gma's, so it was his 1st time. The food was good again! Ryan ordered his first "big boy" pancakes instead of the Silver Dollar ones for the 1st time! We swam again when we got home and yet again right before dinner! Hot out! Mommy and Daddy got new blinds put up on the back door and on the little window by the front door (boy - was there alot of heat coming though there! So nice to have that up - but weird now that I can't see out!). We also got new string on the shades on the backporch, so that we can roll them up easier when the monsoons come.

Bella swimming again! She is going with us almost everytime that we swim and is swimming for at least an hour with us! Her eyes are trained on the ball that you can see in the corner that I'm holding!

Yep - she's fitting in just fine! LOL! It's so hard to catch photos of her - she's so dark and is not quite sure what I'm doing with that big black thing in my face... She seems like she's not sure if she should be on the couch or not (which is fine that she is) and just wants to come kiss you! The 2 pups are getting along great - wrestling everywhere. She slept in Ryan's room last night and seemed to like that.
There's a lot of new posts below! Took me all morning to go through these, edit them and get them posted! I hate it when I get this far behind! I still have some from the pretty sunset last night to post - so watch for those! Off to have lunch!

Father's Day...
Started out really well... I made a big French Toast breakfast with sausage for Michael. We gave him the few gifts that we still had for him - a new T.Stweart cooler, a new TS t-shirt, a new Pujols foundation shirt and his cards. I cleaned up house some. By noon though, Michael was feeling pretty bad and soon he was out for the count! Matthew had come down with it on Thurs. night, Ryan on Sat. night and it was Michael's turn. Throw up twice and it was done and on the way to mend. But with Michael - he gets it so hard! He was sick longer than the boys and ended up staying home on Monday. By Tuesday he was at about 80% again.

We met Matthew's one-on-one aide from school today for lunch at BK. She didn't think she could stand to not see him all summer and I knew he'd adore to see her! He was very surprised (for I really didn't tell him why we were going there) to see her and ran with his arms out hollering "Ms Taylor!" when he saw her!

So, meanwhile, while I bought him the grill for Father's Day, he starts looking at motorcycles. We went to look at this one on Saturday, but there had been someone before us that had told her they wanted it. She called us on Sunday and said that they had backed out of it and did we still want it? So today we went to pick it up! We rode behind Daddy as he drove it home. He is very excited about his new bike!
Then there's a funny photo of Matthew and I when we were waiting for Ryan and Michael to come back from their quick ride. I still haven't gotten a ride on it! :)

Today was all about the boys rooms. I found a set of nice wooden bunkbeds on Craig's List and we bought them today. They came with one mattress (which was fine for we had one twin off Ryan's bed). We set them up in the boys rooms and totally cleaned out Ryan's room some, while he was at Gma's to spend the night. Both of their rooms lookes so nice when we were done!

Daddy's new BBQ grill.
I decided a month ago to get him a new grill for Father's Day. Researched online and picked out the one I wanted to get him. Went to WalMart and ended up deciding on the next one up from the one I thought I'd wanted. Bought it, loaded it in the car, took it to Gma & Ga's to hide it. My mistake was taking Matthew with me, who then went home that night telling Daddy about the outdoor stove in a box. LOL! So, we ended up giving it to him the weekend before, trying to surprise him at least a little. We had it together and ready on Friday - the day before - but Michael had to work late. So, when we got up Sat. morning, Matthew came in once again talking about the outdoor stove and took Michael out to find it. Here is our 1st meal on it - corn on the cob (in the pot) and hot dogs! It's getting a good work out so far this summer - we've used it quite a bit...

It's getting to be interesting this summer with you, Matthew. Just about every 10 minutes (it seems) you are wanting something. A new toy, a cracker, a new movie, french fries, to go for a swim. I sit down to try to do something and you are ready for something right at that point it seems. Makes it interesting for me to get anything done! Today you decided you needed Ryan's Snowbear and clothes to dress it with. Kinda keep you entertained for the afternoon...

Today was PT with Miss Kelly. Not the best shot, but it's the story behind this one. I caught you mid jump on this, but right after this you walked up the steps (benches) that you can see on the left there. The last one is about 24 inches and you were at the edge ready to jump when it tipped forward. You went backwards - folded right up and hit your head on the smaller step. You got a huge goose egg on the back of your head and Mommy ended up taking you to the doctor just to make sure you were ok! You were just fine - which was so great to know!

You had 2 therapies today - OT and ST. Miss Adrian brought her "Don't Break The Ice" game and played it with you. You loved it so much and had such fun that Ryan got out our game and played it a couple more times with you after. Then when Miss Lynnette came - you talked her into playing it with you too! LOL!

The day before, we'd stopped at a $1 store and gotten these water "guns". Michael and I hate them (for they are forever missing and getting us soaked), but the boys think they are the best thing since sliced bread! Pretty good for Matthew's muscles too - having to pull it out and push it in!

We had gone to Target yesterday and you were so excited to get this beach ball from the $1 Spot. You played with it at Gma's pool yesterday and then again with me at our house this afternoon! Ryan went to Gma's to spend the night and Daddy is finishing up in CA to come home tomorrow!
