Project 365 | 6.10.2011

We went and met Dad for lunch today (McDonald's, I think). There are terrible fires in the state right now and we learned a few days ago that they called in this massive airplane to help fight what has become AZ's largest widefire ever (the Wallow fire) and that it was being based out of Daddy's airport. So after we went to lunch, we followed over to where he told us they were parking the plane to try to see it. We couldn't get super close - they had security there - but it was fun to see.

Michael's favorite part was that it's tail number is 911!

This is also where they were flying in the firefighters that were from other states to send them out to the fires.

After we were done there, we stopped at the gazebo area to see what else we could see come in. A military plane came in.
